There is NO ginger in cocquito!! wth lol …. whatever her secret is its not worth going crazy over … the basic recipe is the best way to make it … sometimes all these extras flavors are not needed …..I’m with @elddirector30 you don’t need a secret LOL

The secret ingredient is add to the boiling water fresh ginger smashed,(( then sift, you do not want that in your Coquito.)) about the size that will fit inside a closed fist, no measuring needed, this is how I make mine. Deliscious!

here’s a secret … you don’t need a secret ingredient , just boil the cinnamon sticks with water … thats all.
how is someone suppose to follow recipe if there is a secret ingredient ?
