Hey, they had the 10th Annual Coquito Tasting competition this past Saturday in New York. Held in Spanish Harlem the public was invited to vote on samples from different locations in the neighborhood. A great holiday recipe deserves some good competition, and with so many variations it’s something for people to look forward to each year.

Now that I’m off to college, I have to make my own It’s quick and easy and so delicious!Jack-O-Lantern-Jumble Ingredients4 cups Corn Chex4 cups Rice Chex1 cup salted peanuts (or cashews–we use cashews because they are easier to grab and don’t end up in the bottom of the container!)1/4 cup butter, cubed1/4 cup peanut butter2-1/4 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce1/2 teaspoon salt1/4 teaspoon garlic powder1 cup candy cornDirectionsIn a large bowl, combine the cereal and peanuts. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the butter, peanut butter, Worcestershire sauce, salt and garlic powder; cook and stir until butter and peanut butter are melted. Pour over cereal mixture and toss to coat.Spread into a greased 15-in. x 10-in. x 1-in. baking pan. Bake at 250° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool; stir in candy corn. Store in an airtight container. Yield: about 2 quarts.
